The least likely place for the royal cards to appear would be New England. Our friends' son Ben, who plays their Steinway grand, was visiting the Dibbles, who also have a Steinway grand. He ended up as a "jack", and the family he visited as "queens" in the somewhat Puritan garb. The setting is decidedly coastal Connecticut. |
