This pastel and watercolor version of a colonial dining room shows the Stilton's love for American 18th century furniture. All of the pieces represented are from the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Michigan. That collection was studied passionately by the artist when he was young. The subject is the movement and animation of the chairs. At least one is rather tipsy - but a good time is being had by all.
