The artist often watches the full moon's path from east to west, in Paris, and in Tampa in the studio garden. This explains the five moons which form an arc over the bed. The candelabrum, statues, and wheeled ship are all constant images in Stilton's paintings. The variegated metallic leaf adds a mysterious dimension. |
