This is difficult to capture photographically, because, like Bach’s counterpoint compositions, there is a great deal going on! Depending upon the lighting, it can appear mysteriously deep, or almost luminescent like mother-of-pearl. The baroque curves of the Louis XV grand piano and the string instruments are in consonance with Bach’s rich polyphonic texture. |
