Three yellow French bergere chairs sit serenely, conversationally, on a sand bar with a floor of sea-colored marble squares, and a brick arcade with Corinthian columns. Crystal chandeliers hang from the brick arches, and between the columns red curtains are tied back to reveal the surf against the edge of the sandbar. It is Stilton being rococo at his favorite place for meditation and relaxation. |
