Buildings of different periods suggest Rome in various times. The wheels suggest transport, and play a circular element against the rectilinear structures, some of which have conical or triangular roofs. It suggests the cacophony of ancient Rome—the narrow streets, commercial carts, and chariot wheels—a destination for commerce as well as a habitat.
