"In this underwater concert, a seahorse sits down at a grand piano (in actuality, we only have an inherited Steinway console), while two other seahorses wait for him to begin. Never mind that it would seem quite impossible for a seahorse to play a piano! Fish swim above, where a large crystal chandelier illumines the scene. The colors are of Florida beaches and shells. This is the wedding of the abstract geometric ground and the whimsical figures of earlier work." |
